Dr. Alice Kim
After obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Kim completed a General Practice Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York. Today, she enjoys all aspects of dentistry but finds orthodontics to be especially rewarding.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. Kim's parents encouraged her to pursue a career that would allow her to help people in a meaningful way. She was drawn to healthcare but also loved arts and crafts, and found dentistry to be the perfect blend of both these interests. Dr. Kim finds it incredibly satisfying to be part of the transformative process that improves a patient’s oral health while boosting their overall confidence and sense of well-being.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When Dr. Kim isn't busy helping patients, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her active toddler, who keeps her busy.
